AC Milan are considering the possibility of signing on loan Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as a potential replacement for Manchester United linked Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Pole has been on loan at Roma from Arsenal since 2015 and is set to play his last game for the Giallorossi on Sunday when they take on Genoa in the final game of the season.

Roma are unlikely to offer him a chance to stay at the club next season and while he is set to return to parent club Arsenal in the summer, Napoli are reportedly interested in signing him.

However, the 27-year-old could have another Serie A option as according to Il Giornale, AC Milan are eyeing the possibility of signing him at the end of the season.

The Rossoneri have been trying for months to secure Donnarumma on a new contract, but negotiations have dragged on and patience is running thin at the AC Milan offices.
