West Ham attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson has stressed the need for the Hammers to keep the winning streak going and take every game at a time to show their quality.

The Hammers have been on a four-match winning run in the league and have thus climbed to the top half of the table, being currently placed ninth.

The summer signing admits that the start was tough, but that was something that they had expected. And Anderson thinks team though have kept on going and now they find themselves in a good position and feel the need to keep on that momentum.

“We know that the beginning was hard, it wasn’t what we expected, but we kept on working, we kept on grinding, and now things are very different, we are thinking to go as high as possible”, Anderson told his club's official website.

“We are taking every match as it comes and will try to show our quality in every match to keep the streak going."

On how life has worked out in England, the Brazil international said that it was tough in the beginning, but his team-mates have been helpful on the pitch.

“Personally, it was also hard for me at the beginning.

"But my team-mates helped me on the pitch, I managed to turn it around and now I’m happy to help the team to get good results and keep this run of wins going.”

West Ham's next match will be against Watford on 22nd December.
