Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has admitted that the fans at Villa Park have made a great impression on him since his arrival and insists they give all the players a good boost.

El Ghazi, who joined Aston Villa on a season-long deal from Lille in the summer, has quickly made an impression at the club, owing to a number of impressive performances this season.

The 23-year-old has netted four goals from nine appearances in the Championship and hogged the limelight when he a bagged a brace during the 2-2 draw with West Brom in the derby clash earlier this month.

Despite only being at Villa Park for a few months, El Ghazi admitted that the fans have already made a lasting impression on him.

The Dutchman also hailed the supporters as “fantastic” and insisted they give all the players a boost, while also admitting that the chances of succeeding are high when there is a togetherness at the club.

“They are fantastic. They have made a great impression on me”, El Ghazi told the club’s official website.
