The newly promoted Premier League side have had an eventful transfer window, bringing in Rodrigo, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente, while also making Helder Costa’s loan switch permanent.

And now Leeds are set to make Rennes’ 23-year-old Brazilian winger Raphinha their latest addition in the ongoing transfer window.

The Whites have an agreement with the Ligue 1 club in place, shaking hands on an initial £17m fee, and are expected to finalise the deal on deadline day.

Raphinha landed in England late on Sunday night ahead of his switch from Rennes to Elland Road.

The winger is now expected to complete his medical, among other procedures, and put pen to paper on a contract with Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Meanwhile, Leeds are continuing to look at central midfield options after they pulled out of a deal to sign Michael Cuisance from Bayern Munich.

However, with time running out in the transfer window, it remains to be seen if the Yorkshire outfit can bring in one more player through the door at Elland Road.
