Premier League clubs West Ham and Wolves are both in the market to sign a new centre-forward during the ongoing transfer window.

The Irons recently sold their record signing Sebastien Haller to Eredivisie giants Ajax, while Wolves have been without star striker Raul Jimenez, who is recovering from a head injury.

Keen to bolster their striking options this month, the two clubs have been linked with several players, with Ajax’s 20-year-old Traore one of them.

However, West Ham and Wolves could be dealt a blow in their pursuit for Traore, with the player tipped to stay at Ajax beyond the window, according to Dutch outlet Ajax Showtime.

The arrival of Haller has significantly increased the competition for a place in the team, but the Burkina Faso international is poised to stay in Amsterdam.

Traore, who is currently sidelined with an injury, has scored and assisted nine goals each from 18 appearances across all competitions for Ajax this term.

Apart from West Ham and Wolves, the youngster has also been linked with Italian Serie A side Fiorentina this month.
