The Black Cats will look for an immediate response following their 2-1 defeat against Shrewsbury Town when they take on Doncaster later today.
Moore’s side on the other hand will be eager to get a win for reasons of their own after losing their first match after five straight league wins.
Doncaster sit fifth in the League One standings and Sanderson rates Moore’s men highly, feeling they are consistent, well organised and play good football.
“Doncaster are a good team, who have been on a consistent run. They lost their most recent game, but they’ve been in good form”, Sanderson told his club’s official site.
“You can tell they’re well organised and in a good place by the football they play – Darren Moore is a very good manager for them.
“They’re competing with us – both teams are looking to bounce back from defeats but there will always be ups and downs in football.
“We have to try and build on what the gaffer wants us to do – the lads are ready, we’re all at 100 per cent and ready to go.”
While Sunderland have the fourth best away record in League One, at home their record is only the 14th best in the division, with just four wins coming at the Stadium of Light in 13 games.
Doncaster have won six times on the road in League One this term.
