Sancho has been on Manchester United’s radar since last summer but they refused to meet Dortmund’s valuation of the player last year.
But there is more confidence at Old Trafford that they will be able to reach an agreement over a fee with the Bundesliga giants this time around.
Manchester United have been in talks with Dortmund over getting a deal over the line for Sancho and the negotiations are progressing towards a positive conclusion.
The Premier League giants are prepared to commit £80m and it has been communicated to the Westfalenstadion outfit.
The figure is amenable to Dortmund, but the club want another £20m in easily achievable add-ons before they agree to sell.
However, the noises coming out of both the club suggest that a compromise is on the cards for Sancho to move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United want to sort out the agreement before the European Championship but feel that could be difficult as Sancho is bedded into the England camp at the moment.
Other Premier League clubs have also shown an interest in Sancho but the player’s preference is to join Manchester United.
