The north London club are looking at a number of areas of their squad where they are aiming to strengthen this summer.

Arsenal are considering bringing in better quality for defence and their midfielder and it has been claimed that they are also looking to add new attackers.

And the Gunners are claimed to be keeping an eye on Calvert-Lewin as part of their transfer plans.

The 24-year-old emerged as Everton’s main man up front last season and scored 21 goals in all competitions for the club.

He is also in the England squad for their European Championship campaign and is expected to have a big future ahead of him.

Arsenal are interested but it is unclear whether they will make a move for him in the ongoing transfer window.

If Arsenal do firm up interest in Calvert-Lewin then it is likely Everton will resist losing him.

Calvert-Lewin has four years left on his contract at Everton and is believed to be happy at Goodison Park.
