The 26-year-old winger has impressed in Italy’s run to the quarter-finals of the European Championship thus far this summer.

His performances in the summer extravaganza have attracted the interest of several clubs in Europe and his future at Sassuolo is under the scanner.

AC Milan have their eyes on him and are keen to take him to the San Siro, but he also has significant interest from the Premier League.

New Tottenham football managing director Fabio Paratici is claimed to have steered his side into the race, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also mooted to be keen.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Sassuolo are aware that they could lose Berardi this summer and are open to selling him.

It has been claimed that the Italian club are considering selling him in a deal that would see them bag a player and some cash.

A swap deal involving players would be something Sassuolo are likely to consider in any deal for the forward to leave the club.

For the moment, AC Milan are not ready to meet the demands as the club feel they are excessive.

It remains to be seen whether Premier League sides put a player on the plate for Sassuolo if they move for Berardi.
