The American midfielder has emerged as one of the players the club are prepared to listen to offers for in the final week of the transfer window.

He is not one of Massimiliano Allegri’s first-choice midfielders and he prefers Rodrigo Bentancur over McKennie at the moment.

Tottenham have been linked with an interest in signing him and it has been claimed Juventus could sign off on a deal to send him to north London.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus both have technical and off the field reasons why they want to sell the American this summer.

While McKennie is not one of Allegri’s first choices, Juventus have also been left unhappy by some of his behaviour off the pitch as well.

His professionalism off the field has not touched the levels that Juventus expect their players to reach.

The Italian giants are not enamoured by some of the eating habits of the midfielder, which they believe has affected his body and performances.

The Juventus hierarchy have also been left less than impressed with some of his social media posts with friends.

The Bianconeri want a fee of around €30m before they agree to let him go before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
