Mbappe is keen on leaving PSG this summer to join his dream club Real Madrid, but the Ligue 1 giants have already turned down two mammoth offers for him from the Spaniards.
However, Les Parisiens’ hierarchy are still planning for a future without the Frenchman and it has been claimed they have identified Everton’s Richarlison as a potential replacement for him.
But Toffees boss Benitez has made it clear that his club are not considering selling the Brazilian in the ongoing window, which is set to slam shut on Tuesday.
Benitez added that he and his team are really pleased with Richarlison and is hoping he can score a lot of goals for them this season.
Asked whether a huge offer would be needed for Everton to consider selling Richarlison, Benitez told a press conference: “We are not considering selling him.
“He’s our player, we are really pleased with him, really happy.”
“Hopefully he can score a lot of goals this year for us.”
It remains to be seen whether PSG will make concrete moves for Richarlison in the event Mbappe departs the Parc des Princes in the coming days.
