Bellerin has been keen to move on from Arsenal all summer and the club have also been ready to see him leave.

But with just over a day left in the transfer window, the Spaniard is still at Arsenal and the avenues for a transfer have been dwindling with each passing hour.

Real Betis have been in contact with his Bellerin’s agent all summer but for the moment a move to the Spanish club seems highly unlikely.

According to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, the only way Betis can afford to carry out an operation to sign Bellerin is if they can offload one of their top earners.

William Carvalho’s future at Betis has been under the scanner but he recently rejected a move to Fulham.

A proposed deal would also have to see Arsenal agree pay a large part of Bellerin’s wages as he is beyond Betis’ salary structure.

For the moment, it seems unlikely all the dominos will fall into place for Betis to sign Bellerin before the window closes tomorrow night.

Bellerin has not even featured in Arsenal’s squad in their last two Premier League games but it seems he could be staying at the Emirates for the time being.
