Spurs have been linked with a host of players since Fabio Paratici arrived as their new managing director of football this summer

McKennie is one player Tottenham have been associated with, but those links appear to have cooled down, with Tanguy Ndombele likely to stay at the club.

The United States international, though, could still be on his way to the Premier League as Burnley have been offered the chance to sign him.

Sean Dyche’s side have been offered the chance to acquire McKennie services from Juventus in the final hours of the transfer window.

The Clarets are now said to be in negotiations with the Serie A giants over a loan deal for the former Schalke midfielder.

With time running out in the transfer window, it remains to be seen if Burnley can get a deal for McKennie across the line.

The Turf Moor outfit have already signed Connor Roberts from Swansea City and have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s Ross Barkley.
