The Ligue 1 giants are claimed to have identified the former Watford star as an ideal replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who has entered the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes.

There were suggestions that PSG could look to land Richarlison if Real Madrid manage to acquire Mbappe’s services from them in the recently concluded transfer window.

PSG even held talks with Richarlison’s representatives last week, but were aware that signing him from Everton was going to be tough, with little time remaining in the transfer window.

The French giants also did not have to step up their interest in Richarlison as Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid did not materialise despite the La Liga side placing multiple bids.

Richarlison, though, remains a transfer target for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who remain keen on a deal for him next year.

Mbappe is still likely to leave the club next year and his departure would leave PSG looking for a replacement, with Richarlison tipped to be a top candidate.

Everton will be hopeful of keeping the Brazil international, but he is said to have opened up to the idea of leaving the club following Carlo Ancelotti’s departure.
