Vlahovic was heavily linked with a move away from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window, with Tottenham and Atletico Madrid interested in signing him.

La Viola managed to keep hold of Vlahovic, but the Serbia international continues to be of interest to clubs including Spurs and Juventus.

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso confirmed this week that Vlahovic has rejected a contract offer that would have made him the highest-paid player in the club’s history, sparking further talk about his future.

And Tottenham intend to take advantage of the 21-year-old’s contractual situation at Fiorentina by luring him to north London.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Tottenham are in direct talks with Vlahovic’s entourage in an effort to acquire his services.

It is said that it is likely that Tottenham and Vlahovic’s entourage have reached an agreement over financial terms of a potential deal.

Vlahovic has a contract with Fiorentina until the summer of 2023 and it remains to be seen when Spurs want to sign him from the Serie A club.
