Alli started the first six Premier League games for Spurs, but has not seen a minute of league action since being brought off at half-time in the north London derby.

The midfielder was being played in the cup games but a disastrous performance against Vitesse last week saw him dropped from their EFL Cup game against Burnley on Wednesday night.

Alli was keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain last year when he was struggling under Jose Mourinho but Daniel Levy refused to let him go.

However, it has been claimed that the club are now open to letting him leave Tottenham in the upcoming transfer windows after changing their stance.

The midfielder’s stock has fallen rapidly over the years after being termed the ‘best 21-year-old’ by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Now 25, Alli is now a bit-part player at Tottenham and the club are now considering letting him go.

It remains to be seen whether any club show concrete interest in signing the midfielder in the January transfer window.
