Corbeanu made his full debut for Sheffield Wednesday in League One against Sunderland on Tuesday night and marked the occasion by scoring and assisting a goal each.
Having helped Darren Moore’s side to a 3-0 victory over Sunderland, the Wolves loan star has become the topic of discussion among Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media.

George explained that Corbeanu was a menace for the Owls on Tuesday and insisted that he gave Sunderland right-back Carl Winchester a night to forget.
Apart from Corbeanu’s performance on the pitch, Andrew was impressed with the Wolves loan star’s attitude in his post-match interview and tipped him to have a great future ahead.
Delighted with Corbeanu’s display against Sunderland, James pointed out how the fans have been crying for him to be given a start and says that he should play more often for the Owls.
Ty is aware of Moore’s reasoning for not starting Corbeanu more often, but feels the 19-year-old proved why the supporters have been asking for him to be played more often with his performance against Sunderland.
A Sheffield Wednesday fan that goes by the Twitter username Island Owl does not understand what took Moore so long to give Corbeanu a start.
Richard pointed out how Corbeanu was playing as a left wing-back against the Black Cats and explained that he was fantastic going forward, but admitted that he needs to work on the defensive side of his game.
Morgan hailed Corbeanu as different gravy following his performance against Sunderland, while Chris expressed his gratitude towards Wolves for sending him out on loan to the Owls.
Corbeanu was an absolute menace last night. That poor right back was having a night he’ll want to forget against him.

Watched interview with @CorbeanuTheodor last night. Seems like a genuinely nice lad as well. Fantastic ability and will have a great future if he continues with that attitude! #SWFC

He has to start more often…the fans have been crying out for it & Moore has finally delivered! Just like Corbeanu did…

Our manager’s reasoning was that he needed some work on his game in terms of ‘off the ball’ play, he had a couple of sub appearances but no starts.
Most of our supporters were screaming for him to start, and he’s shown us why we were. Hopefully many more to come now— Ty (@TyTheOwl_) November 3, 2021
How DM can work with Corbeanu on a daily basis and not put him into the first team until now is beyond me.

Was fantastic last night especially going forward credit to him because he certainly isn’t a LWB where he was asked to play but positive steps he was in the side but unfortunately have to do a lot of work on his defensive side of his game that he certainly won’t be used to.
