The 23-year-old midfielder has been attracting the prying eyes of several big clubs in Europe through his consistent performances for Leipzig at the highest level.

The Mali international is a big part of the Leipzig team and his consistency has been noticed by several teams across Europe.

He is particularly attracting interest from a clutch of clubs in the Premier League who are considering making a move for him.

According to German magazine SportBild, Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham are all clubs in England who have an interest in getting their hands on Haidara.

The three Premier League clubs have been keeping tabs on the player with a view to signing him.

Everton manager Rafael Benitez wants reinforcements and Antonio Conte also wants to bring in several new players into the Tottenham squad.

Newcastle have the funds to compete with anyone in Europe and are targeting Haidara as a long-term option.

He has a contract until 2025 with Leipzig but it also contains a release clause worth €40m.

It is unclear whether the exit clause will be in effect when the winter transfer window opens in January.
