Coutinho is one of the highly-paid players Barcelona have been trying to get rid of in the last few transfer windows, but he is still at the Nou Camp.
An injury prevented the club from trying to offload him last season and the Brazilian’s future is again under the scanner ahead of the winter transfer window.
Barcelona are keen to offload him in the winter transfer window and Newcastle are believed to be interested in getting their hands on the former Liverpool man.
But according to Catalan daily Sport, Coutinho has no plans to move away from Barcelona.
The Brazilian is planning to spend the rest of the season at Barcelona and has no interest in changing clubs in the middle of the season.
He will take stock of his future in the summer but for the moment he is content at continuing at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona want to get rid of his massive wages from their salary bill but it seems the player is prepared to dig in for the rest of the season.
It remains to be seen whether Coutinho’s stance changes over the course of the next couple of months.
