Vlahovic’s future at Fiorentina has been under the scanner since he refused to sign a new contract towards the end of last year.

He has been a top target for Arsenal and the Gunners are said to have tabled a €70m bid for him, but the Serbian has been unwilling to move to the Emirates Stadium and Mikel Arteta’s men now face the final disappointment.

The striker was believed to have been holding out for a move to Juventus in the summer, but it has been claimed that is now likely to happen in the coming days.

Juventus are said to have worked out an agreement worth €67m with Fiorentina and according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, a medical has also been scheduled.

Vlahovic is expected to undergo the mandatory medical checks with Juventus between Thursday and Friday.

The Bianconeri have always been Vlahovic’s preferred option but there were claims that the Italian giants did not have the funds to do a deal this month.

However, Juventus have found a way to work out a deal with Fiorentina who were reluctant to sell him to the Serie A giants.

And it seems the Bianconeri are now closing in on bringing in a big signing in Vlahovic in the coming days.
