Lo Celso’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is under the scanner as Spurs are keen on offloading him in the ongoing window.

The Argentine, along with Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli, do not play any part in boss Antonio Conte’s plans and Tottenham want to move them on this month to make space for new signings

It has been claimed that Spanish outfit Sevilla are interested in taking Lo Celso back to Spain on loan this month.

However, according to Seville-based daily Estadio Deportivo, Los Nervionenses have downplayed claims linking them with a temporary move for the 25-year-old, labelling them speculation.

The Argentine has always had admirers at Sevilla, who have also tried to sign him in the past, but they are not interested in adding him to their ranks this month on loan from Spurs.

Lo Celso was dropped by Conte on Sunday in Spurs’ 2-0 Premier League defeat to Chelsea, even though he was fit.

The transfer window is set to slam shut on Monday and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can find takers for Lo Celso before time runs out, with his former club Real Betis floated as an option.
