Van de Beek has struggled for game time at Old Trafford this season and is interested in leaving the club on loan in bid to earn regular minutes.

Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace are keen on snapping up the Dutchman, with the Eagles boss seeing the midfielder as a perfect fit for his style of football.

Van de Beek has also attracted interest from abroad in the shape of La Liga outfit Valencia, but the Eagles have been pushing to beat off competition and secure his signature.

And according to French outlet Foot Mercato, a loan move for the Manchester United star to Crystal Palace is 90 per cent done.

Vieira is on the verge of roping in one of his key targets in the ongoing window as he looks to take his club from strength to strength in the second half of the campaign.

Van de Beek has hopes of getting back into the Netherlands national team set-up ahead of the upcoming World Cup and regular game time at Selhurst Park could improve his chances.

It has been claimed that Manchester United are expecting more clubs to come forward enquiring about the possibility of snapping up Van de Beek but as it stands, Crystal Palace are the frontrunners to land him.
