The 25-year-old midfielder is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans going forward and Tottenham have been trying to shift him out all month.

But with days left in the window, the Frenchman’s future at Spurs remains uncertain with no concrete solution in sight.

PSG have been in talks with Spurs over signing him on loan and the midfielder has prioritised moving to the Parisians this month.

Ndombele has rejected all other offers from clubs in the Premier League and Spain in the hope of joining PSG, but according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the track leading to the Parc des Princes has been fading.

PSG are not in a position to sign him without moving on from one of their midfielders and they have been unable to do so.

None of their first-team midfielders are interested in moving away from PSG in the ongoing transfer window.

With no player yet to leave PSG, Ndombele’s chances of moving to the Parc des Princes have been dwindling.

It seems unlikely PSG would be able to move on player needed to secure a deal to sign Ndombele.

The midfielder could be forced to consider other offers ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
