Rangers faced a dire situation with regard to Ianis Hagi as he has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.
As such the Gers were looking to strengthen their forward line as they look to keep hold of the Scottish Premiership title.
The Gers ended up taking on loan from Manchester United Amad Diallo for the rest of the season but there is another winger Rangers were linked with.
Muric was said to be of interest to Rangers after showing impressive form in the Croatian top division with Rijeka.
The Croatian club though have come to an agreement with Turkish side Konyaspor for the transfer of Muric.
The deal is not sealed however as the player is yet to approve of the move and his yes remains to be confirmed before anything can be signed.
Muric has seven goals and six assists to his name in 15 appearances in the Croatian top flight this season and if he agrees to join Konyaspor, he would be joining a side that have title aspirations of their own.
