Henderson is not happy being the number 2 to David de Gea at Old Trafford and has been pushing for a loan move this month.

Watford have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing him on loan today and even Newcastle are interested in him.

But Manchester United have decided to knock back the approach from Watford and have blocked a loan move for Henderson.

The Red Devils are worried about Tom Heaton being their number 2 for the rest of the season but it has been claimed that Henderson is not happy.

He wants to play more football and was keen to leave Manchester United on loan for the rest of the season.

Henderson would likely have been the first-choice at Watford as Roy Hodgson is ready to improve the current goalkeeping options.

The 24-year-old has been annoyed at the lack of opportunities at Manchester United this season.

He is likely to start when Manchester United take on Middlesbrough in the FA Cup this weekend.
