The Nerazzurri are keen to add to their attacking firepower when the summer transfer window opens and have zeroed in on the Premier League for an option.

They are focusing in on Jesus as, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, he is strongly back in fashion at the San Siro club, where sporting director Piero Ausilio tried to sign him before he joined Manchester City in 2017.

They are aware that Jesus only has 18 months left on his contract at Manchester City and believe he could be taken to Italy in the summer.

Manchester City have been thinking about offering Jesus a new contract, but have yet to push through an agreement to keep hold of him.

The Brazilian has made 19 appearances for Manchester City in the Premier League so far this season, with a return of just two goals to his name.

He could be tempted by the prospect of a fresh chapter in Italy’s Serie A with Inter, where he would be expected to play a leading role.

Jesus, 24, is also on AC Milan’s radar as the potential successor to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will turn 41 years old in October.
