Kamara will be out of contract at the end of the season and he is expected to leave Marseille on a free transfer in the summer.

The Frenchman has been attracting interest from several clubs across Europe, including from the Premier League, and is expected to have his pick of sides to join.

Leeds could move for Kamara, as could Newcastle United and Manchester United, but now there is serious competition from Germany for the player.

According to German magazine Sport Bild, Dortmund have added Kamara’s name to their potential list of targets for the summer.

The German giants have been tracking him and are now planning to make a move for him at the end of the season.

His contractual status makes him appealing to Dortmund, who are not known for spending big fees on players.

But they are also likely to face competition from their closest rivals in Bayern Munich who also have their eyes on the midfielder.

Kamara’s agent has been fielding offers from across Europe and the player is yet to make up his mind.
