The defender recently signed a new two-year contract with Torino, but it has been claimed that it was done to protect his value for the club.

He is almost certain to leave Torino in the summer with some of the biggest clubs in Italy and Europe interested in signing him.

Liverpool and Tottenham are amongst the clubs who are keen to get their hands on him but in a blow to the Premier League pair, it has been claimed that Inter are in a pole position to sign him.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the Serie A giants have prioritised signing the defender from Torino in the summer.

They have been in contact with the player’s camp for several months and are pushing to get an agreement over the line.

AC Milan are also believed to be interested but Inter are confident that they have the edge in the race.

The Nerazzurri believe that they have done a lot of the groundwork needed to sign Bremer in the summer.

An agreement is still not in place but Inter are more than happy about their position in the race to sign the defender.
