The 19-year-old midfielder will enter the final year of his contract at the end of the season and he is expected to move on from Ajax in the next transfer window.

Clubs such as Juventus and Manchester City are interested in him, however the Dutchman has also been heavily scouted by Manchester United, who could have Erik ten Hag at the helm next term.

Bayern Munich though are the ones who have made the first move to secure a deal to sign him from Ajax.

The German champions have offered a deal worth €15m plus €10m in add-ons to Ajax and according to German daily Bild, Bayern Munich are growing confident of getting the deal over the line.

Gravenberch is reportedly favouring a move to the German champions despite interest from other clubs.

There is still some distance between the two clubs as Ajax want €25m and €10m in add-ons before agreeing to sell him.

However, Bayern Munich are optimistic about reaching a compromise with Ajax for Gravenberch in the coming weeks.

They believe that the negotiations could be completed quickly and they could have a deal in place soon.
