Awoniyi, a former Liverpool player, is catching the eye in the Bundesliga with his performances for Union Berlin and his displays have not gone unnoticed.

The powerful Nigerian striker has found the back of the net 16 times across all competitions for the club and established himself as a key man for Union Berlin.

A trio of Premier League sides, in the shape of Newcastle, Southampton and West Ham, all want Awoniyi and the player has admitted playing in England is his dream.

Now it has been claimed there is a 95 per cent chance that Awoniyi will be sold by Union Berlin in the summer window and he is keen to move to England.

It is also suggested that Fulham hold an interest in the player.

Liverpool boast a ten per cent sell on clause in the Nigeria star and he has been rated at £25m, meaning the Reds could be set for a windfall.

Awoniyi had loan spells at a host of clubs while on the books at Liverpool and has played football in Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
