It emerged on Wednesday night that Ten Hag has become the favoured candidate to become the next Manchester United manager.
While no deal is still in place, Manchester United are believed to be close to working out an agreement to secure Ten Hag from Ajax at the end of the season.
There are suggestions that an announcement could also be made towards the end of next week, but it has been claimed that Ten Hag is in no hurry.
Manchester United have offered him a contract, but according to Dutch daily the Algemeen Dagblad, the 52-year-old is yet to say yes to the Old Trafford outfit.
Ajax have also denied any agreement with Manchester United for Ten Hag to move to the Premier League giants.
Ten Hag wants to focus on Ajax’s charge to retain the league title and will not be signing anything with Manchester United any time soon.
He has discussed transfer targets and his vision for the club with Manchester United but is yet to agree to sign on the dotted line.
Manchester United are confident and are not expecting any hiccups towards finalising an agreement with the Dutchman and Ajax.
