Despite his injury-hit season, Phillips has continued to garner interest after raking in praise for his performances in both a Leeds and an England shirt.

A host of clubs have taken notice of his displays and he has been linked with several sides, including Aston Villa and Manchester United.

After a January window where they completed the blockbuster signings of Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Digne, the Villans are looking to make a splash in the summer too, while Manchester United are expected to back Erik ten Hag.

However, at this moment there are no indications from Phillips that he wants to leave his boyhood club in the summer.

Phillips’ deal with the Whites ends in the summer of 2024, but the midfielder is understood to be willing to sign a new contract at Elland Road.

Due to injury, Phillips’ appearances this season have been limited to 14 in the Premier League, but he is slowly getting back into the team and played more than 30 minutes in last weekend’s win against Watford.

New Whites boss Jesse Marsch will be looking to count on Phillips next season as he makes his mark on the Leeds team.
