Kenny is out of contract at Goodison Park in the summer and is tipped to move on as he seeks to secure regular playing time, with just eleven appearances in the Premier League under his belt so far this term.

 

If the defender does leave Everton then he will not options, not least in the Bundesliga, where he has played before and made a good impression.

 

 

According to German broadcaster Sport1, Kenny has interest from Germany and some clubs have already put offers to him for consideration.

 

Kenny on his part is willing to consider going back to Germany, where he played in the Bundesliga for Schalke.

 

 

“I can only say that I really, really appreciate the Bundesliga and the way the game is played there, and I can very well imagine playing there again”, he told the broadcaster.

 

“What counts for me is the project that the club are pursuing and how I can be integrated there.

 

 

“I want to become an integral part of a team and show game after game what skills I have, like now under Frank Lampard”, Kenny added.

 

Kenny made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga during his time at Schalke, who he clocked 34 games for overall.
