The 21-year-old winger has two goals and nine assists in all competitions this season and is expected to move on from Shakhtar in the summer.

Several clubs have been monitoring his progress with a view to potentially signing him in the approaching summer transfer window.

Brentford are pushing for his signature and have already tabled a bid worth €20m for him, but it has been claimed they are facing competition from Germany.

According to German broadcaster Sport1, Leverkusen are working on a deal to sign the Ukraine Under-21 international as well.

The German giants have been keeping tabs on him and are now looking to convince him to move to the BayArena this summer.

Shakhtar are looking for around the fee that Brentford have offered before they could agree to sell him.

Brentford will hope that Mudryk ignores interest from Germany to agree to a move to England in the summer.
