The Dutch winger played a key role in Villarreal’s progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League this season and has been a big player for the Spanish side.
He has scored 16 times this season for the Yellow Submarine and there are suggestions that he could move on from the Spanish outfit in the summer.
Newcastle are amongst the clubs who are interested in getting their hands on Danjuma in the next transfer window.
Senna admitted that Danjuma has been a brilliant signing for Villarreal given the way he has performed this season.
The Villarreal legend is hopeful that the club manage to hold on to the Dutch winger for a few more years.
The former midfielder said told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato: “Danjuma was a perfect signing, he has had a very positive season here at Villarreal.
“I hope he will stay with us for many more years.”
Danjuma joined the Spanish side from Bournemouth last summer and has a contract until 2026 with the club.
