Both Burnley and Leeds do not know which division they will be playing in next season with the relegation battle in the Premier League poised to go the final day.

But Burnley and Leeds already have an eye on next term and on potential players that they could add to the ranks.

Junior Firpo has failed to make a big impression since joining Leeds last year and the club are in the market for a new left-back, while Burnley also want to strengthen in that area.

And according to German outlet transfermarkt, Leeds and Burnley are showing interest in Wagner.

The German is currently plying his trade in the MLS for the Philadelphia Union and has impressed scouts from across the Atlantic.

Middlesbrough also have their eyes on Wagner and he is being heavily linked with a move to England.

His contract will expire at the end of the year but the negotiations over his transfer are not at an advanced stage, and there is a one-year option in his deal.

Burnley and Leeds’ potential targets are heavily dependent on what happens in the Premier League on the final day of the season.
