Ramires, 21, first came to Red Bull Bragantino on loan, from fellow Brazilian club Bahia, but they signed the midfielder permanently in January.

In the current South American season, the midfielder has 24 appearances in all competitions for Red Bull Bragantino to his name.

He has been trusted with playing all 90 minutes of the club’s six matches in the Copa Libertadores and he has now received Premier League attention.

Everton have an interest in the services of the midfielder ahead of the next season, according to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte.

After securing Premier League survival, manager Frank Lampard will be eager to strengthen in the summer window so the Toffees do not face a repeat of the season gone past.

The Toffees appear to be interested in the expanding their midfield department and the signing of Ramires could help in achieving that.

Ramires’ contract with the Brazilian club runs until 2026 and it remains to be seen whether the side are willing to sell the midfielder and at what price.
