The 26-year-old spent the latter half of the recently concluded season at Newcastle and featured in every Premier League game he was available to play in.


Magpies boss Eddie Howe praised his performances and Newcastle have an option to sign him for a fee of £15m this summer.



However, Newcastle are dithering over getting the deal done and are also looking at other left-back options in the market.


Targett wants to return to Tyneside in the summer but it has been claimed that he is prepared to consider other Premier League offers.



And it has been suggested that he would be open to moving to Fulham in the upcoming transfer window.


The newly-promoted Premier League outfit want to add players with top flight experience to their squad in the summer.



Targett has emerged as an option for the Cottagers and they are considering snapping him up amidst Newcastle’s indecisiveness.


He is willing to wait for Newcastle to make up their mind but is keen to look at other options as well.
