The Magpies finished a second straight season fifth in the National League and are looking to improve in the summer to challenge for promotion.

Dodoo signed for Doncaster last summer and made 33 appearances in League One in the season gone by as his team were relegated to the fourth tier.

In the league the winger scored four goals and provided a solitary assist but he could be on the move just one year after signing for Doncaster.

Dodoo is fancied by Notts County and they want him to lead the way as they aim for promotion to the fourth tier.

The winger also has League Two side Walsall interested but it is thought that the Magpies could come up with a more attractive package for the both the player and Doncaster Rovers.

Dodoo made one appearance in the Premier League for the Foxes when Leicester City went on to lift the title in 2015/16 and has also played for Scottish giants Rangers.

The winger’s deal with Doncaster is up next summer and it remains to be seen if he is willing to take a step down to the fifth tier to play for Notts County.
