Tolisso has announced his departure from Bayern Munich once his contract expires this month and his representatives are now trying to find a new club for him.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move to the Premier League, where Arsenal are believed to be interested in signing him.

The Gunners are believed to be keen on strengthening their midfield options and the France international has popped up on their radar.

Tolisso stressed that he wants to join a club where he is going to be a key player after years of being a bit-part player in Bavaria.

He admitted that a move to the Premier League would suit his style but he is open to other leagues as well.

The midfielder told French sports daily L’Equipe: “I want to go to a club where I will play a major role and keep winning trophies.

“England, with the intensity, would please me but I am not going to deny any league.

“I know what I am capable of and I know how much a change of life and air will do well for me.”

However, in what could be ominous for Arsenal’s interest, Tolisso insisted that he wants to join a club who are in the Champions League.

“Today, I still want to play in the Champions League and win it again.

“I want to make the best decision for me, and my family and get out of this spiral.”

Tolisso has often been linked with a move to the Premier League, but has yet to play in England.
