Leeds are working to reinforce their squad over the summer as they show determination to avoid another season of struggle in the Premier League.

They have already landed Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen, both arriving from Marsch’s former club Red Bull Salzburg.

Now Marsch is set to continue to put his own stamp on the Leeds squad with the club rapidly closing in on a £10m deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Roca.

According to Spanish daily Marca, Marsch expressly asked Leeds to sign 25-year-old Roca.

The American manager wants Leeds to bring Roca to Elland Road and the Whites are working to fulfil his wish.

It is expected that Roca will sign either a three-year or four-year contract at Leeds.

Roca has, it is claimed, rejected two offers from clubs in La Liga in favour of making the move to Leeds this summer.
