The veteran shot-stopper is out of contract at Ibrox this summer and is yet to take a decision on what to do next in his career

McGregor made it clear that he would hold talks with the Rangers hierarchy about his future following the club’s Scottish Cup triumph, but he has been drawing admiring glances from elsewhere.

An unnamed club from the United Arab Emirates have made him a lucrative offer in the hopes of taking him to the Middle East.

The UAE outfit are offering a two-year deal to McGregor, who is being handed an opportunity to put pen-to-paper on a bumper deal as he enters the twilight of his career.

However, the custodian is currently not considering a move to UAE, even though a high-income job offer is on the table.

It has been suggested that McGregor met with the Rangers’ top brass this week, having returned from his summer break.

The shot-stopper holds legendary status at Ibrox and the Rangers faithful will be keeping a close eye on where he ends up playing next season.
