Having joined Leeds ahead of the 2020/21 season, Raphinha has established himself as one of the key players in their squad and was instrumental to keeping the club afloat in the Premier League last term.
The Whites star is also regular in the Brazil national squad and is attracting transfer interest from both foreign and domestic quarters, including Leeds’ top flight rivals Arsenal.
Spanish giants Barcelona also have Raphinha high on their transfer wish list this summer, and it is claimed that he has already agreed on personal terms with them.
And according to Catalunya based daily Sport, Barcelona director of football Alemany is set to meet with the Leeds hierarchy this week to talk about a move for the winger.
Leeds are tipped to have put a price tag in the €50m range on Raphinha’s head while Barcelona are going through financial difficulties.
And Alemany’s primary objective in the upcoming summit is to try to drag down Raphinha’s asking price below the €40m mark, by offering some players in a part-exchange deal.
Former Barcelona player Deco is Raphinha’s agent and he is doing everything he can to help the winger achieve his childhood dream of playing for the Catalan giants.
