The Magpies have been left frustrated with the way they have been treated by clubs and agents this summer.

A move for Botman has been blocked by Lille’s refusal to lower their asking price for Newcastle while being prepared to do that for AC Milan.

They have a deal in place with Reims for Ekitike, but his representatives are dragging their feet in negotiations while offering him to other clubs in Europe.

Newcastle’s patience is running thin and it has been claimed that they are prepared to move on to other targets.

The Magpies are threatening to walk away from the potential deals if no breakthroughs are made in the coming days.

Both Botman and Ekitike have been Newcastle’s targets since January and they are prepared to push for their transfers.

However, they are not ready to wait for them indefinitely and want resolutions to the respective chases.

Newcastle have other targets in mind and the club are now preparing to shift their focus if they do not make headway in negotiations soon enough.
