Campbell is just 16 years old, but has already caught the eye with his displays in youth football and is tipped to be set for a bright future in the game.
The St Mirren starlet is already being tracked by Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Wolves, while Tottenham Hotspur are also now keen.
And Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton are also in the mix for Campbell.
The south coast club are keen to invest in youth and their scouts have been impressed by what they have seen of the St Mirren man.
It remains to be seen if offers will go in for Campbell soon or whether the English clubs will continue to monitor the youngster as he progresses in Scotland.
Campbell has been capped by Scotland up to Under-16 level so far.
St Mirren, bossed by former Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson, recorded a finish of ninth in the Scottish Premiership last season.
