Lingard is currently available on a free transfer having left Manchester United following the expiration of his contract this summer.

Despite not having a club at present, the forward could continue his career in the Premier League next season as he has suitors in the top flight.

Everton are looking for reinforcements up front following the departure of Richarlison and are keen on Lingard, while West Ham, where he had a stint on loan, are keen to re-sign him in the ongoing window.

However, Lingard has also attracted interest from abroad and two unnamed MLS clubs have approached him about moving to America.

And the ex-Red Devils star is set to jet out to the United States to hear the MLS duo’s offers for him.

It has been tipped that the American clubs are set to propose “ground-breaking” deals to Lingard to lure him away from England.

The England international is keen on clocking up game time on a regular basis next term as he wants to earn a spot in the Three Lions squad for the forthcoming Qatar World Cup.

It remains to be seen whether Lingard will forego Premier League football for a lucrative deal in America by snubbing both Everton and West Ham.
