A new striker has been a priority for the Whites going into the ongoing transfer window following a season in which they struggled in front of goal owing to the lack of a natural replacement for Patrick Bamford.

The exit of Raphinha has further increased Leeds’ need to bolster their attack and they have several targets on their radar, including Charles De Ketelaere and Wilfried Gnonto.

PSG starlet Kalimuendo is another forward firmly on Leeds’ transfer radar, as they look to continue their recruitment drive.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Leeds are pushing to land the 20-year-old and are locked in talks with PSG over a deal for him.

Leeds and PSG are discussing a possible move for Kalimuendo that could be worth up to €25m, which would include €22m as an initial fee.

Should Leeds reach an agreement with Les Parisiens over a fee for the striker, then it will be up to the Whites to convince him to move to Elland Road.

In addition to Leeds, Kalimuendo has also drawn the admiring glances of Serie A giants Inter.

Leeds are currently in Australia for their pre-season tour.
