De Ketelaere is the top target for Leeds, who want to bring in a forward before the end of the transfer window.

Leeds are prepared to meet Club Brugge’s €36m asking price and match whatever wage demands the attacker has this summer.

De Ketelaere has made it clear that AC Milan are the club he wants to join, but Leeds are yet to pull the plug on the pursuit.

However, AC Milan are planning to table another bid for him soon and, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, their plan is to arrange a medical for the Belgian in the middle of this week.

An agreement has not been reached between the two clubs and AC Milan have already failed with two bids.

But there is increasing confidence that Club Brugge will accept their third offer given De Ketelaere’s insistence on joining the Rossoneri.

If an agreement is reached, AC Milan are looking to quickly progress to the next stage and get a medical done for the 21-year-old this week.
