Despite playing 25 times for Tottenham in the previous season, Reguilon does not appear to be in manager Antonio Conte’s plans.

He was not picked for Tottenham’s pre-season tour of South Korea and he has been asked to consider his future in north London.

Sevilla are interested in the left-back this summer and now it appears Reguilon himself is not opposed to a move to the Spanish club.

Reguilon has communicated to members of his inner circle that he would be happy to go to Sevilla, according to Spanish radio station Cadena SER.

The left-back played for Sevilla previously, in the 2019/20 season, and he would not be opposed to a reunion.

There are difficulties in the deal however, with Sevilla wanting him on loan, and it remains to be seen if all parties reach an agreement.

Sevilla have parted ways with Ludwig Augustinsson, who moved to Aston Villa, and in targeting Reguilon they want to fill the extra spot left behind in the left-back department.

It was recently claimed they are becoming confident they can land Reguilon.
