Dennis faces a season in the Championship with Watford as things stand but after impressing in the top flight the last campaign, he is attracting Premier League interest.

West Ham United were interested in singing the Nigerian star to enhance their attacking options but that move now appears to be not happening.

West Ham were reportedly pursuing a £20m deal for the Watford striker but it was West Ham boss David Moyes who made a decision and now the move is off.

Now, it has come to light that after performing background checks on Dennis, Moyes was dissatisfied and thus West Ham have pulled out of the race, the manager feeling that the striker might not fit in.

West Ham have signed Gianluca Scamacca this summer, but the Hammers are still looking for attacking players but it now seems Dennis will not be one of them

Nottingham Forest are also keen on Dennis and have been considering whether to go in with a bid to take him away from Watford.

The Tricky Trees are tipped to prefer an initial loan deal for Dennis if the player does move to the City Ground.
